I am motivated by helping people out. This in part is why I spent a significant amount of time in pursuit of a degree in medicine. Naturally, as my professional interests have shifted, I have still been on the lookout for more direct ways to influence the lives of others. Last year, I was contacted by a religious friend and asked if I might help with a project focused on generating a movement that would be “getting religious people out of the pews and into the streets.” It was an effort to reignite social action and service within Washington's communities. I agreed with the notion and helped create a few graphics and some video content including: a short animated intro for their proposed video series, a few icons and some help with filming.
